A few weeks ago, Frazier Signal Technologies was thrilled to receive a call from Randy Gardner at Gardner Construction Enterprises. He needed a Maine DOT prequalified traffic signal company to assist with the removal and storage of two light poles from the US 1 Irving parking lot in Bucksport. In addition to removing the two light poles, we had to install a utility pole and mount a streetlight to compensate for the lost illumination of the crosswalk.
Why remove the existing utilities just to store and reinstall the original? Over the next two months, a series of very long windmill blades will be passing through the intersection requiring additional room to maneuver along the route.
We were honored by the opportunity and eagerly adjusted our schedule to ensure timely completion for the safe and effective travel of the windmill blades.
