Last Friday, the Old Town traffic mast arm poles arrived at our shop from Oklahoma, and tuesday marked the beginning of Frazier Signal Technologies setting them in place!
In the downtown area, a total of seven mast arm poles are being installed on foundations. The one near the beloved local restaurant Kanu stands at a height of 30 feet.
We had most of the Frazier Signal Technologies team on-site to partake in the installation.

Frazier Signal Technologies has devoted a few days to preparing Old Town’s traffic mast arms. Our tasks involved mounting and wiring traffic signals and signage onto these mast arms for efficient installation.
The recently installed 30ft high mast poles require seven mast arms, three measuring 35ft in length! Handling the movement of these 35ft arms in and out of the shop has been quite an experience.

They’re specifically wired to light up only when the pedestrian crossing “walk” is active. What a great way to keep kids safe walking to school! Especially in areas like this one where vehicles running red lights are an issue.
Out with the old and in with the new! Our team worked through the night on this double signal head replacement. This was a high-traffic area and the job needed to be done in the night hours while traffic was light. We were able to make it happen by keeping the intersection live to help maintain traffic operations while working.

Frazier Signals, founded by engineer and entrepreneur Lynn Frazier, PE PTOE, launched to provide critical traffic signal installation, maintenance and repair services in and around Maine and Northern New England. Frazier Signals is a woman-owned business with business service support from affiliate Treadwell Franklin Infrastructure Capital LLC (“TFIC”). Frazier Signals’ capabilities include routine maintenance and emergency repair of signals, new or replacement intersection installations, solar powered roadside signing, troubleshooting and optimization services including full engineering studies with the support of sister-company Sewall.
